League of Women Voters of Concord-Carlisle to provide assistance for p

The League of Women's Voters of Concord-Carlisle will be at the Fowler
Library of the Concord Public Library on Tuesday mornings from 11 am
to 12 noon to provide postcards, stamps and names and addresses of
local, state and federal legislators. Dates are March 28, April 25, May
23, and June 13. The LWVCC urges everyone contact your elected
officials and take part in this form of "governing of, by, and for the
people".

Concord Give Back Day

Retailers within Concord will provide
the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest
with a donation relative to sales or
other activities on Saturday April 29, 2017
so shop locally.


Annual Holocaust Remembrance Event April 30, at 7:00 PM

Concord's annual Holocaust Remembrance event will take place on April
30, 7 p.m. at the town house. The documentary, "Exile and Community:
The Life of Carola Domar" produced by Filmmaker and CCTV volunteer
Sue Rieder will be shown. A chapter of the piece is devoted to the sense
of community and purpose she finds in Conantum, Concord. This free
90-minute event, sponsored by the Concord Carlisle Human Rights
Council, will open with a blessing by Rosalie Gerut, of Kerem Shalom,
and conclude with brief Q&A period with the filmmaker. Refreshments
